The following is an 1869 original copy of "The Prison Pen:The Capture and Escape" by Willard W. Glazier, Brevet Capt. of the New York Volunteer Cavalry. A concise writing on the life and hard times in Southern Prison Camps from the first hand accounts of the author. Illustrated with many woodcut drawings, this book is in very good condition throughout. The binding and spine are solid and the gold is still very strong on the cover. An excellent addition to any Civil War Library.
