The following is a 72 piece artillery shell collection from the Winchester Battlefield in Virginia(private property). All 72 fragments have been cleaned and treated for display. What a great way to start a Civil War Artillery collection. All 72 pieces come from the Winchester Battlefield. The set includes fragments of Parrott, Hotchkiss, Schenkl, round ball, and a few micellaneous shells. There is even a small artillery hammer head that was found during the dig. In total there are 73 pieces including the hammer. This collection would make a great artillery display for any Civil War enthusiast.
