The following coins were part of a Civil War era ladies bracelet. The bracelet consisted of seven 3 cent coins dated from the 1850's. One of the coins is inscribed L.E. Harvey, most likely the owner of the bracelet. The U.S. 3 cent piece was the smallest U.S. coin ever printed. It is even smaller than the current U.S. dime. These coins are in worn but good shape and each one has a small drill hole where they were attached to the bracelet. Very unusual set that comes displayed in a riker case.
