This is an extremely rare and unusual piece. It is part of a breeched U.S. model cannon that exploded. This piece was recovered near Baltimore, Maryland on private property. The groove of the cannon tube can be seen in the pictures and would be for a six pound cannon. Heres a rare chance to own part of an actual Civil War cannon. (Cannonball for display purposes only)
