CSA Sideloader Shell Gettysburg

CSA lead sideloader 12 lb. shell recovered on Power's Hill on the Gettysburg Battlefield(private property). From the location of recovery, this shell was most likely an overshoot from Picketts Charge. Powers Hill was the eventual headquarters of Major General George Meade, Commander of the Union Army. Meade moved his headquarters from the Leister House to Powers Hill due to the tremendous shelling in the area. This shell contains no gunpowder. It has been cleaned and rendered inert and is totally safe. Note: Picture #4 is the ball after it was dug  from Power's Hill and before restoration.
