The following firearm is a model 1809 Prussian pattern musket. The barrel is full length as is the stock and it has both sling swivels intact. The triggerguard and barrel bands are all solid brass and the buttplate is dated 1832. The wrist of the stock has been repaired and looks to be a period repair. This is not uncommon for a gun over 175 years old. The top of the stock near the buttplate has the Company and Regimental marks of Co. B 28. These muskets were very popular at the outbreak of the war and usually came from the state armories. The gun also has a matching model 1809 Prussian Musket Bayonet. This is not original to the gun but is the correct bayonet that would have come with the gun and matches almost perfectly. This would make a great addition to anyones Civil War Room. The buyer will also receive a letter of authenticity from a well known appraiser and Civil War Antiques dealer. This gun must be paid by check or money order due to paypal regulations on firearms. If interested, please e-mail me at gregmueller@unionarsenal.com. My asking price for both the musket and matching bayonet is $795.00. Now on Sale at $725.00.

The following item is a very nice Civil War Era double barrel pinfire boot pistol. The gun is in relic condition and looks as if it has been in an attic for over a hundred years. The firing mechanics work on the side with the broken hammer, but the other side has ceased to work. Both triggers still drop down into place. The original wooden grips are present and the gun is very solid. The loading mechanism still works and the gun has a very musty dark gray patina with some pitting. I believe this gun to be from around the 1840-1860 period. A very nice looking boot pistol that comes displayed in a riker case. My asking price for this gun is $180.00.Due to paypal rules on firearms, it can only be purchased by check or money order. Please contact me at gregmueller@unionarsenal.comfor puchasing information.
